Lash lift works by boosting your natural lashes from the root, giving them a lifted and lengthened appearance. Lash lift makes the lashes become more prominent, longer , thicker, attractive and when tinted, darker.

Lash Lift CONTRAINDICATIONS

Please don’t get a Lash Lift if:

Positive reaction to the allergy patch test (you can book your book your patch test for free, it best to get it done at least 48 hours before the service).

Q

Any previous reaction experienced with same or similar service in the past.

Q

Have Cysts, Puss/Abscess, Skin Cut, Skin Diseases in or around the eyes.

Q

Trichotillomania (impulsive control disorder), Claustrophobia, Eye infection, Eye Inflammation, recent eye treatment.

Q

Any diseases or disorder that causes shaking, twitching or erratic movements.

Q

Ongoing Chemotherapy.

Its best to consult your doctor before booking the treatment if you have dry eye syndrome, Glaucoma ( its a group of eye diseases that damage the optic nerve, which can lead to vision loss and even blindness), after any Eye surgery, Post Chemotherapy.

Lash Lift AFTER CARE

NO water for 24 hours.

NO makeup, NO oil base product, NO Makeup remover, NO Facial Steam for 48 hours.

Please do not Sleep on your face where your lashes are rubbing against the pillow encouraging the lashes into new direction.

It is also important to avoid hot steam showers, saunas, even heat from the ovens for the next 48 hours.

If you use mascara , it is always best to use non waterproof mascaras.

NO rubbing or playing with them.

To remove any make on or around the lashes , please use water base makeup remover and be sure to gently clean them.

Please don’t forget to brush your lashes every time you wash or wet them.

It is recommended to use lash lift after care conditioner/ serums every day at least twice , it nourishes and strengthens and keep the lash lifted for longer. The after care formula is enriched with amino acids, sunflower extracts, keratin protein, collagen and vitamin complex ingredient to give your lashes strength , shine, to help repair the hair structure from processing.

Any Risk or Side Affects Associated with Lash Lift

Lash lift and tint is generally safe, although there are some potential risks and side effects you should be aware of before the procedure. Always do the Lash lift with a trained and certified professional who follows the proper safety protocols to avoid risks like these.

Temporary Redness or Irritation:


It is very uncommon , but sometimes you might experience mild redness or irritation
in the eyes.

Allergic Reaction:

It is very rare but there is a small risk of allergic reaction to the product. It is recommended to do a patch test 48 hours prior to the appointment to determine any sensitivities or allergies.

Hair Loss:

Lash Lift doesn’t cause any hair loss when performed correctly. However a poor aftercare can lead to a temporary hair loss.

Infection:

The Risk is very minimal, there is a slight chance of infection if the technician doesn’t follow proper hygiene and sanitation practices.

Ans: A Lash lift should typically lasts 6–8 weeks, but the results may vary depending on your lift style, following the after care, and your natural lash growth cycle.

Q. Can I wear MASCARA?

Ans: Yes Absolutely, you can wear mascara if you like, but its best to avoid it for the first 48 hours. its recommended to use non- waterproof mascara.

Q. When should I REBOOK?

Ans: It is always best to wait 6-7 weeks to redo them.​

Q. Can I have CONTACT LENSES ON?

Ans: It is best to ensure removal before the procedure.

Q. Can a lash lift DAMAGE my lashes?

Ans: NO, a lash lift should not damage your lashes, if performed correctly and most important if the aftercare instructions are followed.

Ans: Absolutely, the lash lift is performed by a trained professional and the product we use is strictly regulated. The product we use is Vegan, Gluten Free, Latex Free and Non-Toxic. However there’s some contraindication (you will find the details in our website), we also always recommend a consultation and a patch/ sensitivity test to ensure the treatment is 100% safe for you.

Q. PREGNANCY and LASH LIFT?

Ans: Pregnancy , breastfeeding, taking the pill or HRT (Hormone replacement therapy), and even some thyroid treatments or hormone altering medications are not contraindicated for lash lifting. however it is really important to schedule a allergy/ patch test at least 48 hours prior to the service.

– Lash Lift is safe for pregnant and breastfeeding Mothers, but its always recommended to avoid the treatment in your first trimester.

– If you previously had a lash lift with any brand and got a sensitivity / allergic reaction please DO NOT do it again during pregnancy / breastfeeding.

– Most Important factor for an Expecting Mother to consider is that if she experiences a reaction to either a lash lift or a lash tint, she cannot take any medications/antihistamines to help reduce the reaction.

Q. I’m ALLERGIC to LASH EXTENSIONS adhesive – Can I have a lash lift?

Ans: Most reaction to lash extension adhesive is caused by contact with the skin and through a build up of exposure to Cyanoacrylate (ingredient found in all lash extension adhesive). Lash Lift products and adhesives don’t contain cyanoacrylate so the chances of reaction is very slim however we always recommend a patch test, it is the best way to determine if you might have any sensitivity.

Q. How do I PREPARE for the lash lift appointment?

Ans: It is best to avoid any eye makeup, caffeine.

– avoid lash curler for at least 3-5 days before your appointment.

– Ensure to remove the contact lenses before the service.

– Please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out any necessary forms.
